We finished the week with a great lesson from Mr Rex about responsibility. He used the context of the upcoming Olympic games to get his message across. We then passed around a symbolic Olympic Torch.

Room 6 has had a very busy start to the term. We continued to learn about measurement and this came in very handy when it came time to make Anzac biscuits. We thank the mothers who came to help. without you it would not have been possible. The children have really enjoyed learning about Anzac and produced lovely ‘poppy art’ which was presented at assembly. It is now on display in the classroom. We have ‘hit the ground running’ and look forward to the weeks to come!
